The Lord Has Done Great Things

The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy. Psalm 126:3
They celebrate your abundant goodness and joyfully sing of your righteousness. Psalm 145:7
When we pause and look back over our lives, we can see the fingerprints of God—moments of rescue,
provision, healing, restoration, and blessings too numerous to count. The people of God, having come
out of difficult seasons, often found themselves overwhelmed with joy because of all He had done. Their
celebrations were not quiet; they were full of song, dance, and testimonies.
God’s goodness is not a rare occurrence—it is overflowing and continuous. Even in seasons of waiting or
uncertainty, we can look to our past and find reasons to rejoice. Celebrating His goodness strengthens
our faith, revives our hope, and stirs our joy.
This kind of celebration is not just emotional; it’s spiritual. It becomes a posture of the heart that resists
complaining and embraces gratitude. It’s how we keep our eyes on His faithfulness and remind our souls
that the same God who came through before is still at work today.
Prayer
Father, thank You for all the great things You have done in my life. I am filled with gratitude as I
remember Your goodness, mercy, and provision. Teach me to always rejoice, to testify of Your works, and
to encourage others with my story. May my life reflect the joy of someone who has seen Your hand at
work. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration
