Strengthened to the End

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13
Life is often described as a race, and like any runner, there are moments when the journey feels long, the road feels uphill, and the body feels weak. Yet, God has made a promise to His children: those who wait on Him will have their strength renewed. His strength is not seasonal, and it does not diminish with time. It is a supernatural supply that refreshes the weary and empowers the faint-hearted.
When you wait on the Lord—through prayer, worship, and trust—you exchange your weakness for His strength. Human energy runs out, but divine strength carries you further than you could ever go on your own. This is the difference between striving in the flesh and soaring in the Spirit. You are not meant to crawl through life defeated but to rise on wings like eagles, with renewed vision and vigor.
The Apostle Paul reminds us that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. This means every assignment, every trial, every responsibility, and every battle can be faced with confidence, not because of our own power, but because of Christ’s limitless strength flowing through us. You are not running on fumes; you are flying on grace. God has not just called you to start—He has given you the strength to finish.
Prayer
Father, I lean on Your strength today. Where I feel tired or discouraged, lift me up. Renew my heart, my mind, and my body with Your power. Give me the endurance to press through difficulties and the grace to remain steadfast until the end. I declare that I will not faint, but I will soar to the finish, bringing glory to Your name. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
