Strength for the Journey

Strength for the Journey

He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint
and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their
strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and
not faint. Isaiah 40:29–31
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:13
The Christian Walk is a marathon, not a sprint. Along the way, there are moments when the weight of
life, trials, or even spiritual disciplines like fasting can feel overwhelming. But we are not running this
race in our own strength.
God promises to supply fresh strength to those who look to Him. He doesn’t just uplift the strong—He
gives power to the weary and energy to the exhausted. Those who make the choice to lean into His
presence are empowered to rise above the weariness.
When Jesus rose from the grave, He emerged not in weakness, but in resurrection power. That same
power is alive and working in every believer today. As we fast and draw near to God, that power revives
our hearts, restores our focus, and fuels our journey with fresh fire. You may be tired, but you are not
alone. God’s strength is available to carry you, sustain you, and help you finish strong.

Prayer

Lord, I thank You for being my strength and my sustainer. When I grow weary, lift me. When I feel faint,
renew me. Let Your resurrection power flow through my spirit, soul, and body. Help me not just to walk,
but to run with endurance. May I soar above every obstacle, knowing You are with me every step of the
way. In Jesus’s name. Amen!

Declaration

“I am strengthened by the power of Christ’s resurrection. I will not grow weary. I will rise, run, and walk
in divine strength. Christ in me is my endurance and my victory.”
