Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. (Ephesians 6:10)
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart
greatly rejoices, and with my song I will praise Him. (Psalm 28:7)
Spiritual strength is essential for every believer. Just as our physical bodies require nourishment,
exercise, and rest to remain strong, our spiritual lives also need renewal, endurance, and
empowerment. In life, we face trials, temptations, and seasons of exhaustion that can drain our
faith and weaken our resolve. However, God has provided us with His strength, enabling us to
recover and stand firm in Him.
Our strength does not come from ourselves but from the Lord. We are called to be strong in His
power, relying on Him rather than our limited ability. Strength is not about striving in our flesh but
about leaning into the grace of God—His unmerited favor, empowerment, and sustenance.
When we find ourselves spiritually weary, we must intentionally seek recovery by abiding in God’s
Word, staying persistent in prayer, surrounding ourselves with faith-filled believers, and relying on
the Holy Spirit for divine strength. God does not call us to fight battles on our own. As we surrender
our weakness to Him, He fills us with His strength, enabling us to walk in victory.
Prayer
Father, I thank You for being my source of strength and sustenance. I ask for restoration in every area
where I feel spiritually weak or weary. Fill me afresh with Your divine strength and empower me to
overcome every challenge. Help me to remain steadfast in faith, trusting in Your power rather than my
own. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration
“I am strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. My strength comes from His grace, and I walk in
victory. Amen!”
