Joyful Worship

Come, let us sing for joy to the Lord; let us shout aloud to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come before
him with thanksgiving and extol him with music and song. Psalm 95:1-2
Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit
and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. John 4:23
Worship is not just a duty; it is a delight. True worship flows from a heart that finds joy in God’s
presence. We are called to sing, shout, and give thanks, not as a ritual, but as an expression of
gratitude for who God is—the Rock of our salvation.
Jesus emphasized that God seeks worshipers who worship in Spirit and in truth. This means
worship must be sincere, coming from the depths of our hearts, and empowered by the Holy Spirit.
It is not confined to a place or time but should be a daily lifestyle of honoring God with our words,
actions, and attitudes.
When we choose joyful worship, our focus shifts from problems to God’s power, from burdens to
blessings. As we lift our voices in praise, our spirits are renewed, our faith is strengthened, and we
experience His presence in a deeper way.
Prayer
Dear Father, I come before You with a heart full of gratitude and joy. Thank You for the privilege of
worshiping You in Spirit and in truth. Help me to worship not just with my lips, but with my whole heart
and life. Let my worship bring You glory and fill me with Your presence. No matter what I face, I choose
to worship You with joy, for You are my Rock and my Salvation. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration
