Joy Through Trusting God

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with
hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to
him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6

Joy is not just a fleeting emotion—it is a deep and abiding confidence in God’s faithfulness. True joy
is birthed from trust, and trust is developed when we rely fully on the Lord instead of our own
wisdom.

Many times, we struggle with fear, uncertainty, or discouragement because we are trying to figure
things out on our own. When we release our burdens to Him, He fills our hearts with peace and
gives us a joy that sustains us. The Holy Spirit empowers us to walk in this joy daily, no matter what
we face.

If you are feeling overwhelmed, shift your focus from your problems to God’s promises. Lean into
His understanding, trust His timing, and allow His joy to fill your heart.

Prayer

Dear Father, I choose to trust You with all my heart. Help me to surrender my worries and lean on Your
wisdom instead of my own understanding. Fill me with Your joy and peace as I place my confidence in
You. Holy Spirit, strengthen my faith and remind me of Your promises daily. Let my life be a testimony of
the joy that comes from trusting in You. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
