Hope That Endures

Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy He has given us new birth
into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, and into an inheritance that can
never perish, spoil or fade. This inheritance is kept in heaven for you. 1 Peter 1:3–4

We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the
curtain. Hebrews 6:19

The resurrection of Jesus Christ does more than offer us forgiveness—it births a living hope. This hope is
not tied to circumstances or fleeting moments of relief. It is a secure, Christ-centered promise that
sustains us through life’s darkest seasons.

Unlike human optimism, which rises and falls with emotions or situations, resurrection hope remains
steady and strong. It is the divine assurance that there is purpose in our pain, victory beyond the battle,
and glory beyond the grave.

This hope doesn’t just carry us toward eternity—it empowers us to live boldly today. When challenges
rise, we are not easily shaken, because our confidence is grounded in something that does not change.
As you fast today, let this living hope lift your spirit and ignite fresh expectation in your heart. You are
anchored in something eternal.

Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for the living hope I have through Your resurrection. When trials come, when I feel
weak, and when the road ahead seems unclear, remind me that my future is secure in You. Be the anchor
of my soul. Strengthen my faith, deepen my trust, and help me to wait with joyful expectation. Let my life
be a testimony of hope that endures. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
