Grace to Lead

Grace to Lead

For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but
you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position
for such a time as this?” Then Esther sent this reply to Mordecai: “Go, gather together all the Jews who
are in Susa, and fast for me. Do not eat or drink for three days, night or day. I and my attendants will fast
as you do. When this is done, I will go to the king, even though it is against the law. And if I perish, I
perish.” Esther 4:14–16

He has shown you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love
mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8

Leadership is not always about titles or positions—it’s about influence, obedience, and purpose. Often,
those who are called to lead feel the weight of uncertainty, inadequacy, or fear. Esther faced such a
moment. Though she had position as queen, her true leadership emerged when she chose to risk
comfort for the sake of her people. What empowered her wasn’t her crown—it was grace.

Grace gives us the boldness to speak when silence feels safer. It gives clarity to act justly, love mercy, and
walk humbly in moments when the right path isn’t always popular. God’s grace equips both men and
women to rise with courage, discernment, and humility. In our homes, churches, workplaces, and
communities, we lead not by force but by grace—trusting that God has positioned us “for such a time as
this.”

Whether leading a family, a team, or a ministry, allow grace to be your anchor. You don’t have to be the
loudest or the most confident—you only need to be willing and surrendered.

Prayer

Gracious Father, thank You for the grace that empowers me to lead with purpose. In moments of
uncertainty, help me to trust in Your wisdom. Teach me to walk humbly, act justly, and love mercy in
every role You’ve given me. May my leadership reflect Your character and bring glory to Your name.
Strengthen me to stand boldly for what is right, even when it is difficult. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration

“I am empowered by grace to lead with courage, humility, and purpose. God’s wisdom guides me, and
His strength upholds me.”
