The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)
The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to
the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted… (Isaiah 61:1)
Life often brings seasons of pain—loss, betrayal, disappointment, and grief. In these moments, the
weight of brokenness can feel unbearable. But be assured of this comforting truth: God draws near to
the brokenhearted. He does not abandon His children in times of sorrow but instead extends His
healing hand to restore and renew them.
God is not distant from your pain; He is present, ready to lift you up and bring peace to your wounded
heart. His power to heal is limitless — He mends what is broken and turns mourning into joy.
If you are carrying emotional wounds today, know that God sees your pain. He is the divine Healer who
binds up broken hearts and restores strength. Healing may not happen overnight, but His love is
constant. He walks with you through the valley, giving peace, comfort, and renewed hope.
**Prayer**
Father, I come before You with the burdens of my heart. You are close to the brokenhearted, and You
promise to heal my wounds. Lord, mend what is broken in me and replace sorrow with Your peace. Fill
me with the assurance of Your love, and help me to trust that You are working all things for my good. In
Jesus’ name, Amen.
