Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. Moses could
not enter the tent of meeting because the cloud had settled on it, and the glory of the Lord filled the
tabernacle. Exodus 40:34–35
Oh, that you would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains would tremble before you! As
when fire sets twigs ablaze and causes water to boil, come down to make your name known to your
enemies and cause the nations to quake before you! Isaiah 64:1–2
The manifest presence of God is not just a theological concept—it is the undeniable, tangible expression
of God’s glory among His people. In the Old Testament, it was seen in a cloud that filled the tabernacle
so intensely that even Moses could not enter. Today, though the form may differ, His manifest presence is
still available to us—bringing awe, transformation, healing, direction, and holy reverence.
Isaiah’s cry, “Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down,” reflects a deep hunger for God’s
glory to shake the status quo. When God manifests His presence, things shift—hearts are convicted,
chains are broken, miracles erupt, and the ordinary becomes supernatural.
We must never take lightly the moments when we sense God’s glory in our midst. They are not just
emotional highs, but divine encounters that carry eternal weight. Let us live in expectation, prepare
sacred space in our hearts, and celebrate every sign of His manifest presence.
Prayer
Dear Lord, we thank You for the privilege of Your presence. As You filled the tabernacle with Your glory,
fill our hearts, our homes, and our gatherings. We desire not just to know about You, but to experience
You. Tear open the heavens again and visit us with revival fire. Let Your name be known among us and
Your glory seen by all. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Declaration
