Grace for the Final Stretch

Who are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you shall become a plain! Zechariah 4:7
Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
The final stretch of any race is often the most challenging. Fatigue sets in, distractions increase, and the temptation to slow down or give up becomes real. Yet it is also the stretch that matters most—the moment that defines whether you will simply be a starter or a finisher. God has not brought you this far to leave you stranded. His grace is the sustaining power that carries you beyond human strength.
Zechariah reminds us that mountains—those seemingly immovable obstacles—will be leveled by grace. What you could not move by effort or intellect, God’s Spirit will flatten before you. That is why you must not rely on your strength alone. The grace of God empowers you to endure, to persevere, and to finish strong.
Hebrews calls us to boldly approach the throne of grace. This invitation is not for the perfect, but for the weary, the weak, and those in need of help. In the final stretch, you don’t need to be ashamed of your weakness—you need to access His strength. Grace will finish what God has begun in your life. When your strength is gone, His grace steps in to complete the assignment.
Prayer
Lord, I come boldly to Your throne of grace today. Thank You for the invitation to receive help in my time of need. Pour out fresh oil for the journey ahead. Let every mountain before me be removed by Your Spirit. Strengthen me for the final stretch, and let me finish strong to Your glory. Amen.
Declaration
