Healing in His Resurrection

Healing in His Resurrection

But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought
us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed. Isaiah 53:5

He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness;
by his wounds you have been healed. 1 Peter 2:24

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is more than a triumphant moment—it is a divine turning point for our
total healing. Isaiah saw it prophetically: “by His wounds we are healed.” Peter confirmed it as fulfilled
truth: “you have beean healed.” The beating, the bruising, the blood—none of it was wasted. Jesus took
our sicknesses to the grave and left them there.
When He rose, He didn’t just bring back life—He brought back resurrection power that now flows into
every part of our being. This power reaches not only our physical bodies but also our emotional scars,
mental struggles, and spiritual weariness. Every wound, every affliction, every diagnosis meets its match
at the empty tomb.

As you fast today, stretch your faith toward the healing that has already been accomplished. Whether
you’re battling chronic illness, emotional pain, trauma, or anxiety—believe that the same Spirit that
raised Christ from the dead is quickening your mortal body (Romans 8:11). Healing is not just a future
promise—it’s a present reality because Jesus lives!

Prayer

Lord Jesus, You are the Great Physician. You bore my pain, my grief, and my sickness on the cross. Today,
I receive the healing You secured through Your death and resurrection. Let Your resurrection life flow
through every cell, every emotion, and every hidden wound. I declare total healing over my body, mind,
and spirit. Make me whole again — restored and revived by Your power.

Declaration

“By His stripes, I am healed. His resurrection has defeated sickness and death. I walk in divine health,
wholeness, and renewal today.”
