Rejoicing in God’s Promises

Rejoicing in God’s Promises

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
2 Corinthians 1:20 (NKJV)

And being fully convinced that what He had promised He was also able to perform. Romans 4:21 (NKJV)

The presence of God is not only a comfort; it is a confirmation that His promises are alive and active in
our lives. As we celebrate His presence this month, we are reminded that every promise God has made is
reliable, trustworthy, and rooted in His unchanging nature.
God has already affirmed His promises through Christ, and our response is to agree — to say “Amen” —
in faith, celebration, and expectation.

Abraham serves as a powerful example of this kind of rejoicing faith. Though his natural circumstances
seemed to contradict God’s promise, he did not waver through unbelief. Instead, he rejoiced in hope,
fully convinced that God was able to do what He had said.

Today, let us celebrate the certainty of God’s promises. His Word never fails. His presence reminds us
that we are not waiting alone — God is with us in the waiting, working all things together for our good.
Even when fulfillment seems delayed, His presence assures us that the promise still stands.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your faithful presence in my life. I rejoice today, not because of what I see, but
because of what You have promised. Your Word is true, and I trust in Your ability to fulfill every word You
have spoken. Strengthen my faith like Abraham’s, and help me to wait with joy, patience, and
expectancy. I celebrate Your goodness in advance. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Declaration

“I rejoice in God’s promises. His Word is sure, His power is able, and His presence guarantees fulfillment. I
believe it is done, in Jesus’ name!”
