Complete Joy in Christ

These things I have spoken to you, that My joy may remain in you, and that your joy may be full.
John 15:11 (NKJV)
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of
all principality and power. Colossians 2:9–10 (NKJV)
Joy is not a fleeting feeling based on circumstances. It is a deep, abiding reality rooted in our relationship
with Christ. Jesus speaks of a joy that remains—a joy that fills us completely. This joy flows from abiding
in Him, living in His Word, and walking in obedience.
We are reminded that in Christ, the fullness of God dwells—and because of that, we are made complete
in Him. There is nothing lacking in the believer who is rooted in Christ. The joy Jesus offers is not like the
world’s. It’s not dependent on money, success, or people. It’s the unshakable joy that comes from
knowing who you are in Him.
When we understand that Christ is our sufficiency, we stop searching for joy in temporary things. True
joy comes from realizing that we are fully loved, fully known, and fully accepted in Him. No matter what
happens around you, the joy of Christ within you cannot be stolen.
Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for the fullness of joy that is found in You. Help me to abide in You every day and
not be distracted by things that promise happiness but fail to satisfy. Fill me afresh with Your joy—
complete and unwavering. Remind me that in You, I lack nothing. Teach me to walk in that joy, even
when circumstances suggest otherwise. In Your name, Amen.
Declaration
