Overcoming Loss with God’s Help

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called
according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. (Philippians 4:13)
Loss is a painful reality of life. Whether it’s the loss of a loved one, an opportunity, financial stability, or
even personal dreams, the emotional weight can be overwhelming. However, even in our darkest
moments, God is working things together for our good.Throughout history, many have faced setbacks, yet those who placed their trust in God found strength to endure and rise again.

The story of Job serves as a powerful reminder that loss is not the end—restoration is possible. Even when we do not understand why certain things happen, faith reassures us
that God has a plan beyond our present pain.

The key to overcoming loss is leaning on divine strength. There is an inner power available to those who
seek God’s help—a strength that enables them to stand firm, heal, and move forward with renewed
purpose.

**Prayer**

Father, I come to You with my heart heavy from loss. I don’t always understand why certain things
happen, but I trust that You are working everything for my good. Give me the strength to move forward,
in You, I can overcome. Help me to lean on Your wisdom, seek comfort in Your presence, and find hope in Your promises. Thank You for being my refuge and strength in times of trouble. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
